We believe legal recruiting should not be about the recruiter. We are intermediaries, facilitating connections between candidate and client. In that capacity, our role is two-fold: 1) to listen and thereby understand your current situation and goals, and 2) to provide context relevant to your decision-making process. Said differently, we see the hiring process as having two distinct parts, one, subjective, which represents the candidate and client’s goals, and the other, objective, comprised of connections and market data. This approach helps extricate legal recruiting from the sales process, focusing it instead on the people who make it possible. Another way to understand our role is in the negative:
- We would never share any information about any candidate or client without their express permission.
- We are not a volume business, bound by targets, quotas, or other metrics that can cloud the decision-making process.
- We do not compete against each other but work together, as a team, on several dozen searches per year. Our size also frees us from most of the conflicts that can limit larger search firms.
